Danica’s office in Georgia strengthens its service

It is only nine months since our office in Batumi, Georgia, started its operations and already it is strengthening its position in the crewing marketplace – enabling our clients to benefit from a growing pool of competent and motivated Georgian seafarers

Georgia is a small country on the shores of the Black Sea in the south-eastern corner of Europe with a population of 3.6 million. Georgia boasts a diversified pool of some 17,000 seafarers. The country is fully on the IMO and EU whitelists in relation to certification and maritime education.

Danica’s office is in the centre of Batumi – the seafarer hub in Georgia. Our dedicated office team is managed by Capt Raul Beridze. Capt Beridze has a track record as Master with first-class European owners and also has previous experience from operating his own crewing agency. He fully understands the importance of having crew of the right calibre onboard, as well as the consequences of not having them.

Our Batumi office complements our growing worldwide network of Danica Crewing Specialists offices, which now include Ukraine, Cyprus, India and the Philippines. Having this multinational network of recruitment offices all operating to the same homogenous high standards, including the usual Danica strict screening of all seafarers new to us, means we are able to offer first-class service to our clients wherever they are.

If you chose to use Danica’s services you will have a dedicated, single contact person in our organisation who will coordinate internally between our offices to give you access to a crew pool of more than 290K well-educated and competent officers and many more ratings.
