The year has kicked off strongly for Danica with the launch of our new recruitment office in Istanbul, expanding our ability to provide high-quality Turkish crew to our clients.
Turkey is a key maritime nation, and the home port for around 38,000 officers and 96,000 ratings. Turkish maritime education is highly regarded and Turkish officers are held in high esteem by shipowners worldwide. Turkey is also a full IMO member, with STCW fully implemented and whitelisted, and Turkish licenses are accepted by all major flag states.
All Turkish crew recruited by Danica undergo the same strict screening process applied across all nationalities. Our activities in Turkey are led by Hasan Koroglu, an ex-seafarer with extensive crewing experience, based in Istanbul.
