We have modernised the recruitment process for seafarers, moving from Excel CVs to a user-friendly online recruitment platform. Algorithms match seafarers to suitable vacancies. AI-assisted screening quickly determines whether an applicant appears suitable and forwards them to our team of experienced recruiters for in-depth screening.
Our innovative online recruitment platform, CrewRecruit, is a proven success among seafarers, with about 12,000 visitors per month and more than 200,000 clicks on vacancies, showing strong ongoing engagement. Thanks to a pre-screened pool of registered seafarers, standard positions are usually covered within days. For a complete crew change or a new vessel entering the fleet we agree a joint timeline covering documentation, visas and travel.
Yes. Danica manages wage calculation, allotments to families, social security and insurance contributions, and provides the owner with transparent monthly cost reporting per vessel.
Yes. We crew all main vessel types worldwide and align certification, endorsements and contracts with the requirements of the respective flag state and the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
