Our Manila team has a busy role, sourcing Filipino seafarers for clients while also supporting those already employed through Danica and their families.
The team is led by Dimitris Liolios and Nick Matalang.
Dimitris is of Greek-Australian origin and has lived in Manila for more than a decade. He has extensive experience in Filipino crewing and knows the local seafarer market, recruitment processes and deployment requirements extremely well.
Nick joined the team earlier this year, bringing substantial recruitment and office-management experience with her. Together with their colleagues, Dimitris and Nick manage recruitment and provide ongoing support to seafarers serving across our clients’ fleets.
The team will soon have more room to work. We have signed a lease for a larger office and expect to move into the new premises in October.
